Easter Sunday

Today we spend Easter alone with one of our sister's and so far it has been one of the best Easter's so far. No relatives to hide from, no criticism or pointing fingers. No negative comments or high expectations. Just us and sis, enjoying each others company and relaxing.

Some of the others are still fighting inside though. They are screaming at each other. It has been three days now since the fight originally started. I feel so bad for Bee... it is causing a massive migraine and extreme sensitivity to outside noise and light. It has also kept us all from sleeping which has caused our memory to worsen.

Here are some Easter facts for ya:

-In 2000, Americans spent nearly $1.9 billion on Easter candy.

-90 million chocolate bunnies are produced each year.

-Each Easter season, Americans buy more than 700 million Marshmallow Peeps, shaped like chicks, as well as Marshmallow Bunnies and Marshmallow Eggs, making them the most popular non-chocolate Easter candy.

-Yellow Peeps are the most popular, followed by pink, lavender, blue, and white.

-Pretzels were originally associated with Easter. The twists of a pretzel were thought to resemble arms crossed in prayer.

-Americans consume 16 billion jellybeans at Easter, many of them hidden in baskets. If all the Easter jellybeans were lined end to end, they would circle the globe nearly three times.

-The traditional act of painting eggs is called Pysanka.

Happy Easter!!
